Over the years, Latvian Song and Dance Festival has developed into a celebration of Latvian national culture and national identity. They draw on a strong and extensive choral movement and tradition of collective singing, folk dances, instrumental and folk music, folk art, crafts, art and many other expressions of the human creative spirit that develop and enrich this tradition over time. Latvian Song and Dance Festival has become a kind of pilgrimage of the Latvian nation, where young and old from all over Latvia, as well as from foreign countries come together to sign and dance. The Festival has become a powerful unifier of our nation.

The exhibition artists Inta Amoliņa, Āriks Caune, Ilze Aulmane, Annemarija Gulbe, Zane Zelmene, Sandra Strēle, Emīlija Brieze, Ieva Bondare, Anita Indare, artists association Butterman, Simona Weilande and Viktorija Mežniece have interpreted this feeling in various art techniques.
