INTERNAL PROCEDURE FOR VISITORS of the Shopping Centre Galerija Centrs and BURZMA
Working hours of the shopping centre Galerija Centrs, in Riga, Audēju iela 16 (hereinafter referred to as – the S/C) shall be as follows:
- Monday – Sunday – 10:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.*
Working hours of Rimi:
- Monday – Sunday – 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.*
BURZMA and terrace on the 4th floor of the S/C, in Riga, Audēju iela 16 (hereinafter referred to as – BURZMA) shall be as follows:
- Sunday – Thursday: 10:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. *
- Friday – Saturday: 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m.*
* Opening hours are subject to change.
1. General provisions
1.1. Internal procedure for visitors (hereinafter referred to as – the Regulations) of the S/C, adjoining territory and BURZMA (hereinafter referred together to as – the Premises) shall be binding to all visitors of the Premises. The purpose of these Regulations is to ensure a safe, orderly, and pleasant environment for all visitors, tenants, employees, and business partners of S/C, BURZMA, and the adjacent areas by establishing the Regulations governing conduct and presence on the Premises.
1.2. Supervision of public order in the Premises is performed by security employees (hereinafter – the Security Service). All visitors of the Premises shall comply with the instructions of employees of the Security Service on the compliance of these Regulations.
1.3. Video surveillance is performed in the Premises. More detailed information about the personal data processing performed within the framework of video surveillance is available in the website: https://www.galerijacentrs.lv/en/privacy-policy/.
1.4. Visitors of the Premises may be recorded on photographs and/or video. The recorded photographs and video may be used for popularisation of the S/C and BURZMA events organized therein on social sites, website and media. 2. Rights and obligations of visitors
2.1. Visitors are entitled to remain on the Premises of the S/C and BURZMA during their designated opening hours. Presence on the Premises outside opening hours is permitted only with the prior approval of the S/C administration.
2.2. Visitors are not permitted to enter S/C service areas without prior authorization from S/C Administration or the Security Service.
2.3. Visitors must not damage the building structure, fixtures, equipment, indoor plants, flower pots, benches, advertising displays, waste bins, or any other property.
2.4. Visitors and pets must not sit on flower pots, advertising displays, or on the floor.
2.5. Visitors must not climb onto or over railings.
2.6. Visitors must not litter the Premises or leave waste behind.
2.7. Visitors must not leave personal belongings unattended on the Premises. The S/C accepts no responsibility for personal belongings left on the Premises, including their loss, damage, or theft.
2.8. Visitors must not disturb other visitors by making excessive noise, begging, failing to comply with these Regulations, or by physically or verbally abusing or harassing other visitors.
2.9. Visitors must not film or photograph the S/C without the prior approval of the S/C administration.
2.10. Visitors must not organize events, advertise any goods or services, or distribute promotional materials on the Premises without the prior approval of the S/C administration.
2.11. Visitors must not engage in any commercial or trading activities without the prior approval of the S/C administration.
2.12. Smoking and vaping (the use of electronic cigarettes or other electronic smoking devices) are prohibited on the Premises and within 10 meters of any S/C entrance, except on the terrace only in designated places and only electronic cigarettes.
2.13. Visitors must not be present on the Premises while under the influence of alcohol and/or psychotropic substances, if their behavior disturbs other visitors or poses a risk to safety.
2.14. Visitors must not enter the Premises wearing inappropriate attire or in a state of partial or complete undress.
2.15. Visitors are not permitted to ride, push, or otherwise move around the S/C and/or BURZMA on roller skates, skateboards, bicycles, scooters, or similar sports or recreational equipment.
2.16. Visitors must not bring flammable or explosive substances onto the Premises.
2.17. Visitors must not enter the Premises carrying firearms, bladed weapons, or special means, except where required in the performance of official duties.
2.18. Visitors may access the common areas of the S/C and BURZMA together with their pets.
2.19. Visitors may enter individual stores within the S/C with their pets, if a special sign allowing entry with pets is visible at the entrance of the store.
2.20. The restrictions set out in Clause 2.19 do not apply to guide dogs and assistance dogs in the cases provided for by the applicable laws and regulations.
2.21. Visitors arriving at the S/C with a pet must ensure that the animal does not pose a threat to or disturb other S/C visitors or their pets. Pets must remain under the owner’s control at all times, either on a leash no longer than one meter or in a pet carrier. If a pet displays aggressive behaviour or poses a risk to other visitors or animals, dogs must wear a muzzle, and the S/C Security Service is entitled to require the visitor and the pet to leave the Premises.
2.22. Visitors arriving at the S/C with a pet are responsible for cleaning up after their pet immediately if it soils the Premises.
2.23. Pets are not permitted on furniture within the BURZMA area.
2.24. Visitors must comply with the fire safety requirements established by the laws and regulations of the Republic of Latvia and must not use fire extinguishers, manual fire alarm call points, fire safety cabinet equipment, or any other fire safety equipment except in the event of a fire or other emergency.
2.25. Upon hearing a fire alarm or evacuation announcement, visitors must immediately leave the Premises through the nearest exit, following the EXIT signs, and comply with the instructions of the Security Service and emergency response personnel
2.26. Visitors shall compensate the owner of the Premises for any damage caused as a result of the visitor’s intentional or malicious actions.
2.27. Visitors must consume only food and beverages purchased at BURZMA while on the BURZMA premises. Visitors are not permitted to consume food or beverages brought from outside, except for baby food or food required for medical or health reasons.
2.28. After finishing their meal at BURZMA, visitors must clear their tables and place used trays, dishes, and utensils in the designated collection trolleys.
2.29. A Visitor who finds an unattended item on the Premises must immediately hand it over to a member of S/C Security Service.
2.30. Persons under the age of 14 are recommended to be accompanied and supervised by an adult while on S/C and BURZMA Premises. Parents, legal guardians, or other accompanying adults are responsible for the minor’s safety, behavior, compliance with these Rules, and for any loss or damage caused by the minor’s actions. If a minor’s behavior endangers their own safety or the safety of others, or disrupts public order, the Security Service is entitled to require the minor and their accompanying adult to leave the Premises or, where necessary, notify the minor’s parents, legal guardians, or the competent authorities.
3. Security service rights
3.1. The S/C Security Service is entitled to require visitors to the Premises to comply with these Regulations or to request that they leave the Premises. If a visitor fails to comply with such request and continues to violate these Regulations, the S/C Security Service is entitled to remove the visitor from the Premises.
3.2. In the cases provided for by the applicable laws and regulations, the S/C Security Service is entitled to verify a visitor’s identity document, request that a person voluntarily present their personal belongings for inspection, detain a person reasonably suspected of having committed a criminal offence or an administrative offence, immediately notify the State Police thereof, identify and record witnesses, secure the scene of the incident, and ensure that it remains undisturbed.
