Continuing the series of public activities on Rīdzenes Street in Old Riga, Galerija Centrs is collaborating with the Zuzeum Art Centre to make contemporary art more accessible to a wider audience. Artist Lauma Muižarāja, who created the large-scale original work Lorins and Gallantry, has been invited to collaborate with Zuzeum. The artwork, created specifically for the six-storey atrium on Rīdzenes Street, consists of two parts: an installation and a prose piece. In her work, the artist invites us to consider the impact of seemingly inconspicuous objects on the modern, calculating individual. The installation will be open to visitors of the Old Town free of charge until 20 June.
